ist in Thailand, Sumatra, Indien und Burma beheimatet. H. micrantha ist ein verzweigt wachsender Schlinger. In allen Pflanzenteilen befindet sich weißer Pflanzensaft. Die Pflanze hat schöne, relativ eng zusammenstehende paarige dunkelgrüne rautenförmige sukkulente Blätter. Die Blätter sind glatt und mit spitzen Enden. Sie sind 18 cm lang und 5 cm breit. Nur die Mittelvene ist sichtbar.
Die Blütendolde ist flach, positiv geotropic. 3 bis 25 Einzelblüten blühen in einem festsitzenden Blütenball. Die Blüten sind klein. Der Durchmesser einer Einzelblüte misst nur 8 mm. Die Blütenfarbe variiert von hellrosa oder cremerosa bis matt gelb oder zart orange. Alle Varietäten haben flaumige Blütenblätter, die sich rückwärts biegen. Die Corona ist dunkler.
H. micrantha wird der Sektion Acanthostemma zugeordnet.
